Oliver selected for State Department event on addiction policy
As an alumnus of two exchanges through the American Council of Young Political Leaders, Oliver was selected to participate in a three-day program in Cleveland on addiction policy with a focus on the opioid epidemic. The program is part of the Alumni Thematic International Exchange Seminar (TIES) series, which bring together alums of State Department exchanges with an interest in a public policy issue. Nearly forty alums from across the country were invited to participate in the Cleveland TIES to share experiences, ideas, and potential plans for collaboration on community resiliency.
Following the conference, participants will propose community-based projects on ways to address addiction and resiliency for potential funding.
